How Does It Work?
You become an employee of AZebra Ltd and as such retain employed benefits such as statutory sick pay, whilst enjoying the benefits allowable to you as a contractor or freelancer by offsetting legitimate business expenses. By offsetting these expenses you reduce the amount of tax you would pay as a normal employee. For example, if you had a gross salary of £450 and you had £100 expenses, you would only get taxed on £350.
What is a dispensation?
Dispensation IS NOT a route that allows individuals to claim expenses they have not incurred!
Dispensation IS a reporting method for businesses to cut down on lengthy end of year paperwork. You should not be fooled into offsetting high fixed expenses if you have not incurred them and don’t have receipts.
Is there lots of paperwork involved?
NO – just a simple application form that we can complete over the phone; we do the rest.
Am I tied in?
